Well... just finished playing piano for 2 hours. -__- So much for meeting that 3 hour requirement of my teacher's. I'll probably never play fully 3 hours in one day. At first, it was easier to play for longer because I was just starting the songs and there were lots and LOTS of areas to work on... but now it's just play through the piece a couple of times, work on 2 or 3 problem areas and then, done! But that only takes like 30 min. per piece. But anyway... I'm sure no one cares so I'll talk about something else now... ^___^

Well, there's just the SMARTEST guy I have EVER met in my entire life in my Chemistry class! Sitting RIGHT next to me!! OMG!!! I mean, he's a GENIUS/PRODIGY/VERY INTELLIGENT PERSON!! I'm talking about straight A's since elementary school and getting a %102 in Chemistry, boys and girls! >< I guess it's understandable since he goes to this private school called Fairmont, which is in Anaheim (right next to the Anime Expo!! But that's off-topic... ^^). He is very smart but he is NOT a goody-goody!! >< Oh and his name is William, by the way. ^^ Well, William's always playing games on his calculator since he got caught by Miss Yu with his Gameboy. >< And he doesn't like to read! Or so he says but he clearly expressed that he likes Harry Potter and was obviously reading a (fantasy) book in class today! Tina and I always ask him what he gets on his homework and classwork answers, HOPING that his answer is wrong so that we can feel better. ^^;; Today, he actually got one wrong!! That gave us quite a bit of hope, indeed! He is a rather interesting character... but that shall wait until I interrogate more answers out of him! I think he thinks that I am very strange. ^_^ I get that a lot.

Alas, the minutes tick by and my Chemistry book grows cold with procrastination... -___- I'd better get started on those two reviews and that learning guide.

*sigh* Just listening to Laruku and waiting for my brother to finish his cello practicing with my mom so she can take me to Video 94 to get the next disc of Chrno Crusade... and no, I didn't spell that wrong. ^^ It really is Chrno. That is very interesting HUH? ^^;; Anyway, that is actually a very good series, it's extremely interesting and looks very nice... it would probably attract Christian people more though. I mean, the main character is a nun and the plot revolves around apostles, God, Satan, etc... but I, a devout aetheist , still liked it. ^^ I think most people would still like it.

That chemistry test wasn't all that hard... but that's what I thought about the first two and OMG, B's on both of them!!! I'm SO freakin' careless!! How could I have thought that S was Selenide?!?!?! OMG!!! *pounds on keyboard* Well... at least we have extra credit, so my average is 97%! WHooo! *holds up victory sign* >< But I HOPE that the Chapter Three one turned out okay because it REALLY WASN'T HARD!!! OMG!! I probably got a B again!!! AHHH!!

And my piano teacher says that I have to play AT LEAST three hours of piano a day!!! OMG!! Is he out of his mind?!?! T____T Well... I have a competition coming up but I'll bet HE never went to summer school before!!! GAHHHH!!! This past week, I did come close... I played about two hours a day. Today I played three and I'm going to a lesson later and I think the practice does make a difference but it takes so LONG!!!

I have decided!!! The Great Mouse Detective has become my favorite Disney movie!!! >< I just LOVE IT!!! I still like The Little Mermaid but WOW, Basil is just SO SMART AND COOOOLL!!! And I hope you don't mind but... I find him quite attractive. *giggles maniacally* Okay! So he's a mouse but so is Yuki (at least part of the time he is!)! I really really like the music!! It's written by Henry Mancini and I KNOW Mr. Clements mentioned him sometime in class... the music is so GREAT!! Maybe we could play it in orchestra!!! WAIIIII!!! ><

Oh yes, how late it is! >< Actually it is not very late considering I went to sleep at around 2:30 yesterday! But I take a nap like everyday in the afternoon so that is not affected! Or doesn't affect me! Or whatever!! >< Yes... I don't think I'm tired. But maybe I am and I am too tired to realize that I'm tired so I think I'm not and while I think I'm not, I'm tiring myself out here trying to figure out whether I'm tired or not. O____O Oh my goodness gracious griddle!!! Chemistry was so WONDERFUL the first two days... it was EASY (except for memorizing those 103 elements and 68 ions in one night which turned out to be not so bad ^^) and the quizzes were really not that difficult. But NOW... Miss Yu is submerging us in deeper, more complicated, more vexing ventures of the chemistry book! AHHHHH!!! Stupid chemical equations made up of ionic compounds but don't turn out to be ions and still have to equal each other and balance out! CURSE YOU!!! But since my recent lacking of blogging, a few things happened:

1. I bought L'Arc~en~Ciel's SMILE which shall forevermore remain in my CD player until death do us apart! With only ten tracks, it may not boast loudly but it boasts the rockin' music of Laruku that I LOVE LIKE CRAZY!!! >< I feel really sad that Hyde (the lead singer and object of the most obssessive admiration from me) smokes... actually most members smoke except Tetsu. I hope they realize they're cutting their lifespans in half... T___T

2. I started summer school, obviously. Miss Yu, my chemistry teacher is quite nice and a good teacher. My class is good, too, with many of my friends in it! ^__^ Yep, good times, Tina! You know I'll win that bet!!!

3. I learned to volley!!!! >< I'll bet you're rolling your eyes at this unmei-chan ^^ but OMG, I've never really known how to volley and suddenly at the group lesson thing (they do really help) on Monday, I was chopping them back almost miraculously!!! WOW... O.o But of course you unmei-chan could volley with your eyes closed...^^

4. I finished Peacemaker Kurogane, which has such a kawaii yet incomplete-feeling ending that I can't decide whether it was good or bad! I mean... I thought Tetsu was going to be the Peacemaker... ^^;;; But he kind of didn't become that. And OMG is Susumu hot!!! >< Of course Okita-san will remain my favorite PMK character but BOY is Susumu close!! His seiyuu is just fantastic! I could almost kidnap him and marry him and make myself blind so I could hear his wonderful voice and imagine that it's Susumu... ^^ Okita-san would be invited as well! I just LOVE how Susumu goes "Na~ya...", which translates to an incredulous exclamation he says whenever anyone does something that slightly impresses or amuses Susumu.

Okay, enough with the list. I think I really feel tired now. ^^ So here's where I leave some food in those bishi shrines and close out for the night! Jaa!

HERE'S THE THING:

Cowboy Bebop and Trigun are COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!! GAHH!!!!!!! I just have this PEEVE where people like to put Cowboy Bebop and Trigun into the same AMV and then I won't download it. KIDS, they are so so so so different and far apart in their content that I can't IMAGINE how they can cooperate together in a video. Okay, okay so there are some things in common. Here they are.

THINGS THAT COWBOY BEBOP AND TRIGUN HAVE IN COMMON:

-There is fighting.
-There is mention of the wild west.
-There are bounties.

OKAY, that's it. The end. MY GOODNESS, Cowboy Bebop is so so so so so much better than Trigun that I cannot begin to write anything based on that. Cowboy Bebop has an incredibly deep and symbolic plot whereas Trigun mainly seems to want to please the mainstream audience with crackpot jokes that JUST AREN'T FUNNY ANYMORE. I can swear to anything that SOMEONE from the Trigun staff worked on Rune Soldier and that's the reason that Rune Soldier is crappy. When you base an anime on jokes, they must be FUNNY and not the shallow pulling-down-skirts-and-hentai-perverted-crap that I see in many anime these days. There's just this HUUUUUGE gap between Spike Spiegel and that gaylord Vash!!! But the production of Trigun is rather intelligent... their plan is to lead on an audience with the promise of a plot and then BAM! it's gone!! Honestly, I was watching the first 10 minutes of Trigun and thinking "eh... it's all right" and suddenly, I was like "OH MY GOSH WHAT WAS THAT?!?!?!" when the utterly horrible ending of episode 1 came. Of course not EVERY episode 1 is perfect so I gave it a chance and watched episode 2. But it killed my dreams of a decent show once again. I even actually went through the same routine with Rune Soldier. There is this one very macho swordswoman who wears little more than a bikini and a belt for her sword and it is just NOT pretty. But I thought... okay so they have variety. That's okay. But then, they start having these camera angles that are like "we so did NOT want to see that" of shots up her little "loin-cloth" and of her incredibly muscular boobs! GOODNESS! Have some decency! Well, that was the end of my Rune Soldier experience.

So dear AMV makers... if you ever would like to make a Cowboy Bebop music video, please PLEASE do not splice and rot it with those evil clips of Trigun. And Trigun music video makers, don't try to spruce up that stupid series with something as grand as Cowboy Bebop.

I may sound biased (I know I do ^^) and it's true that I really haven't seen much of Trigun but based on what I have seen, there's really not much incentive to watch the rest of it.

Anyway... I was eating dim sun today with my family minus my dad at this one restaurant (Ruby Palace or something like that) and I spot the most GORGEOUS waiter!!!!! >< WAIIII!!! I spent the whole lunch time like watching him and WOW does he have a nice smile and WHOA does he have a great body and WHOOOO such nice wrists he has... *sigh* I think I'll go to that restaurant more often... ^^

Lately my mom has been acting completely strange. I mean, she isn't the most normal mother out there and she has her quirks but this is just SO absolutely abnormal. I can barely hold a decent conversation with her sometimes and other times, she's happily listening to anything I say. For example, yesterday she was asking me why I got 2 points extra credit first semester in math when I didn't in the second semester and I said that I didn't know and SHE GOT MAD. I guess I sounded a little frustrated because she ALREADY asked me the day before and I ALREADY said I didn't know but STILL... She was like "FINE! I won't say anything anymore!" I said "Gosh, SORRY! I didn't mean to say anything bad..." And then she went "NO... it's my fault. Everything's my fault!"

And that's when I got out of the car.

And today she was so happy to go dim sun and all that... I was just so confused.

Recently she also became angry at my dad for recording over her tapes and she was screaming like half the night. Like no one in my family slept that night.

My dad (who always has whacked-out theories) suspects that she has alzheimer's disease and I HOPE to everything good that he's wrong. I hope she's just like going through menopause or something. -___-

Well I should be playing piano (again) so I think I'll go.

Serendipity Sweeter




She was perfect. Her body petite and oh, so fragile. Her fingers were like silken feathers splayed gracefully at her side. Her face engrossed in a heavenly melody, thick wonderful hair spiraling down everywhere around her like a waterfall of paradise.

She was beautiful. Oh… oh so exquisite, like a doll who the maker had spent a lifetime blood and tears to create. Her face was so lovely, even the world would stop to admire its splendor. She was ravishing. Gorgeous. Bellissimo.

He would spend eternity, no, more eternity than she could ever, ever ask for, with her. Just gazing would be enough, watching her porcelain face as if it were the world…

Eriol reached out a hand and touched her cheek, expecting it to be soft and warm… but his fingers only trailed cold, hard granite. He was startled out of his thoughts and stepped back a few feet only to stumble into a little girl. A golden head of curls fell to the wine velvet carpet with a soft thump.

“I’m—I’m very sorry,” Eriol apologized, very shaken. He grasped a small shoulder to help her up.

The girl looked up at him and smiled a sweet-toothed smile. Her aqua eyes seemed to mock him.

Eriol felt even more disturbed.

She then quickly skipped off, the lace trimming of her dress trailing a scent of daisies.

Eriol turned his eyes back towards what he had been looking at, but the gaze was lighter. He gave a slightly despondent smile and shook his head, then sauntered off in his midnight-shaded suit.

Kaho Mizuki sipped daintily at her glass of iced water as peopled milled around her at the 18th annual London Fine Arts Exhibition. She was sitting picturesquely in a small black table at a stylish little café, with her long smooth legs crossed sultrily, allowing the slit in her burgundy skirt to show off her beautiful calves. Kaho set her glass back down with one black-gloved hand and settled back into her seat.

She stared at the design of grapevines on the walls.

She half-heartedly stabbed at an untouched strawberry shortcake.

She took off her gloves, revealing red-lacquered nails, and folded them neatly on the table.

She stared at the ice cubes in her water melting.

OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS GRIDDLE!!! A great idea has popped into my head (although I lack both the resources and perseverance to make it happen ^^)!!!! >< WOWOW!! OMG what if I made A Tale of Two Cities (by Mr. Charles Dickens) - themed layout?!?! Okay, I'm really NOT a dork. I just love love love this book!! >< Sydney Carton ABSOLUTELY is the most wonderful male character that I have EVER read about. I really hated the movie we watched that was based on this but YEAH, the book was breathtaking!! ^___^ So one day... I shall draw an anime-esque fanart for this great book, make it into a layout, find a host, code the layout, and that's it! ^o^ Okay, I can't do like most of what is necessary so this great idea will have to wait. But at least I set it here so I will someday do this! Yeah, like the theme of my blog -- SOMEDAY! OHHHHH!! How good is that?!?! ^^ Yep yep.

I don't know if anyone cares but my obssession of L'Arc~en~Ciel actually came from this GREAT movie I saw called Moon Child. I'm sure most people have heard of it and it stars Gackt (I love him too!! He is a wonderful j-rock singer!! ><) and Hyde (Of course, he's the lead singer from L'Arc~en~Ciel!!! ^^)!! The story is that Hyde plays a vampire and Gackt is his like human friend (who gets all angsty 'cause Hyde will live forever, etc... but WOW... he looks SO HOT when he cries!!! ><). They also make another human friend (OMG I can't believe I forgot his name... TT___TT but he looks a freakin' lot like this guy at my school who I think is just SO CUTE! But that's beside the point. ^^) who has a sister. I really don't want to give away too much of the plot because it's a bit predictable but that's fine with me. ^^ The whole cast is quite good at acting. The movie actually takes place in almost four different languages (Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, English) and sometimes it's impressive but it's mostly a bit painful. ^^;; But that aside, I really liked it.

And now I have to go so maybe some more talk later!

I was THIS CLOSE *holds forefinger and thumb .000000001 millimeter away from each other* to an A in math. SO SO SO SO CLOSE. Well actually, not THAT completely close... but DUDE, .7% from the cut off... I'm so serious, I'm going to have nightmares about this.

*goes into dream-like trance*

Ms. Tufenkjian (my math teacher) is standing on a high steep cliff with a golden glowing "A" in her hand. She smiles indulgently down at me. Speaking of which, I am dangling on a thin rope that swings precariously over the sharp rocks and deadly waves oodles of miles below me. Lightning flashes and thunder crackles as cold, sleety rain pierces the air, making it hard to see and the rope slimey and slippery. As I try to climb up the rope to obtain the "A", a gust of wind screams past and a giant, ugly, brown "C" (the grade on the last test before the final) crashes into me, causing me to slip a few notches as my heart catches in my throat. Regaining my balance, I gulp nervously and look up towards my goal. There was the beautiful "A" in her fingers and I... I had a chance to reach it! The whipping wind suddenly quiets down for a moment and the rain becomes just a little softer as I struggle and painfully make my way... slowly, inch by inch... towards that "A". But just as quickly as the wind had quieted down, it speeds up again, as maniacal as ever so I quicken my pace as well, climbing as fast as I could dare. I look up... and I'm almost there! Then... a shadow falls across my hands gripped on the rope and I look to see a huge block spelling out "FINAL" that fell like a ton of bricks and knocked me off the rope. And as I fell down... down... towards the sea of broken 4.0's, "VALEDICTORIAN" flutters off towards the sky, Tokyo Tower stands in its silent grimness in the background (I mean, COME ON, what good is a dream sequence without Tokyo Tower in it? ^^) and the "A" in Ms. Tufenkjian's hand gleams in its glory, as if mocking me with its sparkles.

Okay yeah, got a little carried away there. ^^ But seriously, I was SO CLOSE! Anyway, at least it's summer now!!! WOOHOOO!! And I AM proud of my A in history so that's fine and dandy. ^___^ I hope next year I can once again taste the glory of straight A's!!!

Oh wait... I have Chemistry H in summer school!! I shall strive for an A then! ><

I'm SO SO SO SO scared for my history final!!! >< I am hoping so much that I get at LEAST a B because I have to have to have to raise my grade to an A-!!!! ><

I am just SO OBSSESSED with L'Arc~en~Ciel right now because they just ROCK MY SOCKS! ^^= Hyde is my hero!!! OMG his voice is just SO SEXY and he even looks sexy! How wonderful is that?! I EXHORT (Haha... big word! Well, it's not really all that big or long but it sounds cool... ^^) you to download their songs (ESPECIALLY Stay Away, READY STEADY GO!, and Shinjitsu to Gensou to) and/or their videos (I love HEAVEN DRIVE, and Stay Away)!!! It was REALLY a nice school year this year... I had pretty much a lot of fun and made a number of new friends! ^^ My teachers were cool... most of the time. I just liked this year!!! ^___^ Oh and I LOVE signing yearbooks! It is SO FUN!

*sigh* Now off to studying English and preparing for the Art final presentation thingy... but that's nothing compared to the history final... -__- I'm SO GLAD that THAT'S over with.
