IRC is being so STUPID!!! AHHH!! It keeps going "illegal operation" and dying on meee!!! At least I got some things I wanted before it died... *grumblegrumble* But it's good in a way... XD I think my grades being lower this year than last is a direct result of IRC.

Well, that's okay.

I think this weird "sugar diet" that my specialist suggest I take is like sapping my energy. I used to eat like ALL this sweet stuff because I just have the hugest sweet tooth and it would make me all hyper and happy most of the time. But now, I can only be hyper and happy in intervals... mostly, I'm CALM. >_>

Okay that was not relevant but this next thing IS!!! ^^;;

At the end of the last school year, there was this one publishing contest thing where you can submit a piece of artwork, writing, sculpture, etc. and for each category, if you win, you receive $100. I thought that I might have a chance and $100 really isn't bad so I submitted like my MASTERPIECE to that date, which was this composition with a girl balancing a waterjug on her head. Well, now that I think about it, I was absolutely RETARDED for giving the original. It wasn't like you sent in the original though. You're supposed to scan it and then send the scan in to the contest. So I thought, "WHAT COULD GO WRONG?" WELL, right now, I find that the teacher who had been in charge of the contest is GONE (quit his job or something) and they are searching for the picture. I actually found that out about a month ago and I thought "Okay, they'll probably find it." WELL, even more recently, Miriam (she had the teacher in charge of the contest) comes and tells me that they will RECOMPENSATE ME. It's not like I don't appreciate it. BUT SERIOUSLY... maybe they're not artists so they don't understand but you can't "RECOMPENSATE" for a PICTURE. I spent MONTHS drawing that thing and I was REALLY HAPPY when I finished it. To find that it is lost because I trustingly submitted it to an irresponsible teacher for a contest to win $100 makes me want to hit myself. OR SOMETHING. I don't WANT to blame anyone for this but I really don't think that it is my fault. I probably shouldn't have given the original but I'm pretty sure, artist or not, that they could tell that it wasn't a copy and that it is probably somehow valuable. I'm not exactly mad at anyone but I don't know what to do. I don't know if I should tell my mom. She would be VERY VERY ANGRY not only at me, but also at the school, teacher, etc. and I don't think she would have a good approach to ther problem. But it's like a part of me is gone, no matter how cliche that sounds. I poured so much energy and care into doing that one picture and it's simply gone. Miriam also told me that her friend is helping look for it (I actually gave it to her to give to the teacher) and I SERIOUSLY appreciate that. I don't want any RECOMPENSATION. I WANT THAT PICTURE BACK.

AHHH!!! I DON'T HAVE THREE B'S!! XDDD I AM SOO HAPPY!!!! And no C in Euro!!! *dances a jig* I can totally bring up my English (darn that Summer Reading Test), I'll work harder not to fail anymore essays in Euro XD, and WOW I actually got an A- in Spanish!!!! I'm SO PROUD! XDD ^____^ ^^=

Okay anyway... that was exciting. ^^

I watched BLEACH ep. 2 a few days ago and it was okay. They didn't exactly change the events that occurred, but they added more stuff that didn't happen in the manga. Well, first of all, I have to wholeheartedly agree with Unmei-chan that Tatsuki's hair is just REALLY WRONG. -__- You'd think that an anime company could handle something something like HAIR but I guess not. And then RELATIONSHIPS... OMG Orihime does NOT act like that in front of Ichigo. They make her even more fruity than him. She acts all shy, queer, and shoujo-y when she's just really cheerful around him in the manga. I also have to kind of gripe about how they showed Kakei (Orihime's brother) turning into a hollow. It was rather... unnecessary. ^^;; I mean, he is quite a minor character and although it helps show how he became a hollow, frankly I don't think anyone really cares. Also... the thing about his mask breaking and him going back to that dark shadowy place to fix it was TOTALLY unnecessary. >< Mizuiro sounds so gay and I'm getting a little annoyed at Rukia's seiyuu. Her school personality sounds almost exactly like her regular personality when I think there should be a lot more contrast, like how girl-Ranma sounds much more different when she's being macho than when she's being girly. Orikasa needs to make more effort to do that. Then I was disappointed when they changed the book that Rukia's reading because I felt the horror one was much more amusing. I guess that was because of copyright infringement or something. ^^;; I'm not TOTALLY bashing this episode but it has problems. STUDIO PIERROT needs to make better judgement about what to add in and what not to add in. And I CAN NOT believe who they are going to make Byakuya's seiyuu... Okiayu something or other; anyway, the seiyuu for like Tezuka and Shigure and some other people. >_> I expected, no, DEMAND that Takahiro Sakurai do his voice!!! He was the seiyuu for sexy people like Kagami of Getbackers and Susumu (w00t!!!) of Peacemaker. But NOOO... they had to go get Okiayu!!!

Well, I'm off to do my math homework and then watch JU-ON (Ooh... SCARY XD), or known to US audiences as The Grudge but the original Japanese version.

Okay I had a pretty crappy day today. And that's SO rare... I usually don't have crappy days because I manage to keep my disposition pleasant throughout the day. Actually, I'm feeling okay right now but I was SO ANGRY in the day. OMG my grades are like SO BAD and SO MUCH WORSE than last year, or EVER in my life!!! I have THREE B'S and two of them could easily had been A's if I didn't make such DUMB MISTAKES!!! *bangs head against computer screen* I have NEVER had a B in English before!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER!! And I can KIND OF understand my B in Spanish but it could SO be an A. >_> My Euro AP B is inevitable. XD I'm almost surprised that I have an A in Math Analysis. It's crazy. >< AND ARGHHH!!! In English today, we got back this assignment in which you had to write a paragraph consisting of three chunks (one chunk = one CD and two CMs). AND I had to get 7.75 out of 10 because I only wrote TWO chunks!! I FORGOT THE THIRD ONE. And I could have gotten an A and I am SO ANGRY AT MYSELF all over again!!!!

Well I need to study for Euro now, no matter how hopeless my grade is in that class. -__- And I'm CRAVING trivia... @___@

Yume's Review of BLEACH episode 1 (If you haven't seen it then you should probably watch it before reading this to get your own opinion)

I must say that I love the opening. It is AWESOME... with beautiful visuals and a cool song by ORANGE RANGE. I can pretty much say that it is the best opening I've seen in a long time! And at this point, the animation looks pretty good.

The first scene was... extra stuff about a strange dark place. It showed some evil spirits as dark shadow masses hopping between worlds or something. -_- Rukia then FINALLY appears on a telephone pole and it's pretty much the same as the manga right there. The animation is rather impressive, matching the manga rather closely. The music is eerie, cool, and fits quite well. XD Then, the scene abruptly switches to a gang of teenage boys on the street at sunset where none other than our male protaganist is doing the ghost and vase thing. This scene is done okay and pretty close to the manga, although Ichigo fights a little more. I suppose the animators want Ichigo to appear all strong and buff from day one but I personally think that he seems barbaric stepping on the guy's head. And the ghost is cuter than I remember. XD

Then Ichigo arrives home and it matches the manga closely with Isshin beating up Ichigo, Yuzu whining, yadda yadda. Karin's voice is too cute. >< She sounds okay but it gets whiny in places. Everyone then goes to sleep and all is well.

A news report shows up telling the audience that there has been a destruction of a certain part of the city and Ichigo just happens to walk past, carrying flowers for the girl. He arrives at where the ghost girl usually appears only to hear her distant scream with his spiritual powers or whatever. XD He runs off back into the city and actually meets the first hollow there. The little girl ghost runs away with Ichigo but *gasp* trips and falls! XD I never knew ghosts could trip. The hollow lunges for her and then Rukia appears, with the flutter of a butterfly! She slices and dices the hollow but she's just too weak to kill it and the hollow retreats. Rukia disappears as well and Ichigo is left questioning his sanity. XDDD

Later that night, Ichigo is up pondering the day's events when he chances to see another butterfly come through his window. And at that moment Rukia appears. Then, the "I'm not a thief I'm a shinigami" scene commences rather well. Rukia's pictures are precious! XD At this point Ichigo's voice is holding out all right... although it doesn't sound all THAT great, it's okay. Rukia sounds pretty good, but maybe a little TOO polar sometimes. As she speaks to Ichigo, she sounds pretty mean and when she speaks to that one ghost she seals in Ichigo's room, she looks REALLY happy. ^^;; But that's really minor. And then, the hollow is roaring and Rukia rushes out of the room to see Yuzu (yes Yuzu, not Karin) come stumbling through the doorway, crying for Ichigo to help her. Then Rukia runs outside or wherever and Ichigo manages to follow. The hollow holds up Karin and she screams all whiny and shoujo-like. I'm really not sure why they made this weird Yuzu and Karin switch but I'm not happy about it because they made Karin whine and that's annoying. -__- Moving on, Ichigo wants to break free and help his sister and breaks his bond thingamabobber. They make this breaking bond thing REALLY dramatic and although it looked nice and glowy, I didn't think it was THAT important. But I'm just being nitpicky. XD Then Ichigo grabs a chair/crutch/metallic contraption (instead of a bat) and runs towards the hollow only to be easily hit away. Then as Ichigo dodges the hollow trying to swat him, Rukia goes and cuts off the hollow's arm to free Karin. Then lalalalaa and shinigami Ichigo kills the hollow. And then they do the Name, Age, Occupation thing which looks pretty good.

The ending's stupid in comparison to the opening and Ichigo looks WAAAAY too happy. >< So, overall, ep.1 was good in my opinion. It does the manga justice but does add in some things to try to make it more exciting but end up detracting a little from the anime. And I still don't approve much of Ichigo's voice. Morita has a REALLY annoying groan and he just sounds too nice!!! >< Rukia's fine, Isshin's fine, Yuzu's okay, Karin's... err... all right I guess, and Kon sounds cool, although he only appears in the preview thingamabob.

Time for homework! XD (and maybe a little Bleach trivia...)

Omg this song of the moment thing is such a fad! XD But I can't resist. I love music and think everyone should know what I'm hearing (whether or not they care). XDDDD So my first song of the moment is a really sweet, mellow song, the OP for Gunslinger Girls, which is pretty good. You can't go wrong with 8-year-old European girls wielding machine guns. ^^ Driver's High is the first OP for GTO and is rather bouncy compared to Laruku's other songs. But Hyde still sounds great. XDDD

I have this sinking feeling about BLEACH anime. >< I saw the promo yesterday actually but was pondering it for a long time. Ichigo sounds like such a FRUIT!!! AGHHHHHH!!!! *furiously throws shuriken at Morita Masakazu* I don't know WHAT this company is thinking!!! He sounds so... nice and weird. >< I hope it was only because his vocal cords aren't warmed up or something since it's only the promo. I really hate Morita right now though... >_>

I saw Battle Royale the other day and it was really good. BUT... WHY did Kiri-kun have to die??? T___T I... love him! ^^= Even though he is a maniac who likes to kill people. But OMG Crystal I can't believe you actually LIKE Nanahara the ultimate wussy protagonist that should have died with his stupid girlfriend. >< Even Kawada the stereotypical goody-goody that looks like a baddie is better than him. Oh, I liked Sugimura too... XD Sugi-chan was sooo nice and cute. And Chigusa was pretty cool except her hair was weird. ^^;; OMG I hate Nanahara!!!! >< He is a LOSER! Kiri-kun TOTALLY deserved to live more than him!!! I liked Keiko (Kawada's GF) a lot though... even if I don't really get why she died. Oh I also hate Kitano... that Noriko-molester. And although I'm not fond of Noriko she probably doesn't deserve to be stalked like that. >< Utsumi was pretty cool and the way she and her group died was extremely sad. Yuko is so horrible. Mitsuko was okay... I didn't like her fights much though.
