BLEACH anime countdown: 4 days (Okay I know BLEACH airs on Oct. 5 so technically, it should be in 5 days but we're talking in relation to Japan, and Japan is like ahead by half a day so yeah XD)

OOh... I got 7th chair in Orchestra! T____T I was second chair last year so this is too sad. The judge really wasn't that great though. And I'm not being bitter or anything but I was in a 5-way tie!!! Chairs 4-8 all got the SAME SCORE and I just HAPPENED to be placed 7th. That's why I don't like him. And his name is weird. It's like Robert Les or something. But oh my gosh... I feel bad 'cause I was practicing like crazy for two weeks ALL FOR THIS and I was in a TIE and placed RANDOMLY!!! I am SO challenging people. The freshman in front of me... and the senior in front of her... and this guy named Ted... I'm pretty sure I don't stand a chance against Jonathan, Lila (she's second chair! XDD She must be angry), or Henry so maybe I'll just be 4th chair, if I can. ^___^ I barely had any homework today so that's a plus!!!

The presidential debate was actually very interesting. XD I thought Kerry was good but Bush was also surprisingly rather adept at the whole debate thing. He looks clueless, but he speaks very fluidly and logically. ^^ My dad likes Kerry because he's nonemotional or something. I don't like him that much for some reason though. Well, we'll see what happens in this election!

BLEACH anime countdown: 6 days

XDDDD BLEACH... anime... just thinking of those two words in the same sentence sends excitement down my spine!!!! w00t!!! XD I finally found out what w00t means! It's like "whooo..." or something like that. ^^;; And l33t is "elite"! That's just awesome! ^___^

Oh my gosh for the first time in my high school career, I'm featured in the hoofprint!!! XD That's our school's newspaper, if you didn't know. This is so incredibly exciting! Even though they changed what I said and took a bad picture of me. ^^;; I think it's really cool to be in the newspaper!!! *holds up the paper* And it even features a wonderfully written article by unmei-chan!! ^____^ It's sooo coooool!! ^o^

I'm soo thankful that we didn't audition in orchestra today... *relieved sigh* I don't think I'll ever be ready to play my song okay. -___- I've been playing cello since 4th grade and to be at the level I am right now is quite pitiful. I should be like REALLY good and I'm only like OKAY. OH WOE! T___T I'm going to sit last chair... and I never knew Jon was such a great bass player. XD

I won a really hard badminton match against Casey today... it was too crazy. XD Sven (his mom is his Eng. teacher by the way *ROFL* XDDD)and Josh were like commentating on the side and it was really fun and intense to play Casey since she is sooo good! I won by only ONE POINT! CRAZY, HUH?! ^__^

Oh, time to study for Euro now! ^^;;;

Wheee~! BLEACH 134 was good! XD BYAKUYA FINALLY APPEARED!! It was for about three frames... but that's fine! *sigh* He's just too sexy... And Kaien looks like Ichigo a whole lot, so I'm pretty sure Kubo-sensei is saying that Rukia might like Ichigo for being like Kaien! Well, that's just my thinking... XD

And yesterday I went to Borders to buy manga because of their BUY 3 GET THE 4TH FREE manga sale!!! XD It ends today by the way. I bought BLEACH 2, Duck Prince 1, Card Captor Sakura 6, and Your and My Secret 1. I just <3 Ai Morinaga who drew Duck Prince and Your and My Secret... they are so sweet. ^^=

But licensed BLEACH is beginning to irk me.

Reasons Why Licensed BLEACH Irks Me:

1. The Ichigo/Strawberry thing. This was the first thing that began to eat upon my hope for this series. They could just explain somewhere that Ichigo means "strawberry" since it's just ONE WORD that they need to learn instead of alternating "Ichigo" and "Strawberry" (like that's a cool nickname... -___-) for Ichigo's name, which just makes things more confusing. It's just... frustrating.

2. Soul Reaper. I actually got used to this after a while but I just wish that Shounen Jump left "shinigami" as it was since it's such a COOL word!! Well, at least they didn't use "God of Death". That just sounds dorky and inaccurate.

3. Inaccurate translations. You would think that licensed translating would be more accurate than scanlations but NOOooo... I actually found instances where what they said didn't make much sense and the scanlation made MUCH more sense. In vol. 2, Ichigo shows up in front of Rukia (who is injured and beat up) and goes "Hey! You said you wouldn't take unnecessary risks!" Which is correct. Then Rukia goes "Oh shut up! I had to say that (I have NO CLUE what she's referring to)! And it wasn't unnecessary!" Which is a totally un-Rukia-like comment. Then Ichigo just makes this weird smile and goes "Heh... okay." THEY RUINED IT. They ruined the most important moment between Ichigo and Rukia in the first few books. Originally, Rukia answers "Only someone who cared about that would say something like that!" That makes SENSE because she's actually saying that only someone who worried about her well-being would get mad at her for taking risks. And then Ichigo goes "That's true." So his little smile makes sense since he's admitting that he was worried!! Well THANKS Shounen Jump for killing this moment!! >___> There are other minor errors that I won't go into but this was MAJOR MAJOR!!!

4. They got rid of honorifics. I should just give up about this. I think only Tokyopop puts in honorifics, and it's only on some of their releases (Angelic Layer). But honorifics in BLEACH really is quite significant. Not everyone calls Ichigo "Ichigo", especially Orihime. But I've about gotten used to this too. How sad.

Reasons Why Licensed BLEACH Doesn't Irk Me:

1. The names are all spelled right.

2. They kept the logo.

3. They kept all the little extras that the original had.

Obvious stuff, ya? -___-

Well, I just came back from piano lessons and Video 94 with Full Metal Alchemist 27-33 and I'm Gonna Be an Angel vol. 2!!! XD I've been waiting FOREVER to watch those!!!

And while I was there, I chanced to see a HunterXHunter DVD that obviously had pictures of Greed Island characters on it and it said "HunterXHunter OVA". And the episodes were 87-92...??? O.o I read that Greed Island was going to be 8 volumes or something but nearly 100 episodes??? Is it really that long? Well, this is quite strange yet interesting but I don't mind more HXH anyway. XDD

My DVD's are calling...!!

Oh and Unmei-chan, I saw ROD the TV licensed so we can bring to anime club with perfect subtitles!! XDDDD The freshmen will never know what hit'em!!!

LINDA LINDA LINDA! XD Just the lyrics of this cool song I'm listening to that goes by the same name sung by The Blue Hearts. They're preeetty cool! ^__^ Well, today was a pretty good day for me!! I don't have much homework at all (that's due tomorrow at least XD) and I just feel sorta giddy for some reason. ^___^=

BUT in Orchestra today, we were rehearsing this one piano concerto with the piano player. And she's this one freshman who IS a really nice person and is great to talk to. However, she was being REALLY rude and aggravating today. -___- Mr. Clements spent like 20 minutes rambling about how people who wanted to play a concerto had to talk to him about ritardandos and speeding up or else the orchestra can't follow along, etc... but she was totally not listening!! She just started practicing with the volume real low but you could just TELL that she was trying to show off or something. This guy named Julian and Nariko in front of her were like, "Are you even listening?" Since Mr. Clements was telling us all this for HER SAKE. And she's like "What?" ARGH... and it's pretty rude to play piano while someone is talking. I wonder if she practices while her teacher is talking. -___- That sure was a test of patience. I wanted to just slap her hands off the keyboard and be like "WOMAN! LISTEN!" XD But she really is a good person. I hope she doesn't do that next rehearsal.

OMG, in June, kamu-chan's close friend's relative or something is getting married and we're going to PERFORM there! XD For MONEY!! OMG! I've never been paid to play piano yet! Our group so far seems to consist of Sally, me, Viola, Enoch, Dean, and Isaac (who kamu-chan said sounded happy to go...? >_>). Sally has this little history with Isaac. XD Well anyway, I'm SOOO excited!!! We're already looking for songs to play!! HOW EXCITING!!!

Wheeeee.... Sky Captain was good, guys! XD Jude Law looked pretty nice and I just envy Gwyneth Paltrow's hair like an envious person... -___- Gosh, it was just SOO golden and shiny!! And I liked how the movie was like kind of old-fashioned since the classics are just soo good! Well, I thought the only flaw was that it seemed kind of short but otherwise it was really rather cute and witty! XD

Well, Grace's thing (yesterday) was fun and that's when we watched the movie! And I also discovered that Borders is having a buy 3 manga get the 4th free!! Waaa... it would be GRAND to have four new manga for only $30 instead of $40!! But unfortunately, I hadn't much money on me, I think it was 25 cents of something. -__- But I talked to my mother and she said to wait until she applied for Borders membership and got some free bonus or something. Typical mother answer. XD Well that's fine. I just REALLY want BLEACH vol. 2 and Ahiru-no-oujisama or commonly known as Duck Prince (I swear, that is just... really lame >__>) vol. 1!!!

And after that, I watched ANOTHER movie called The Calcium Kid starring none other than one of my man-whores, Orlando Bloom, XD and it was a very cute movie. I liked it a lot, and it wasn't just because Bloo-chan was half-naked for most of the film (he IS a boxer after all XD).

And before that, actually I saw Uzumaki, which delighted and yet disappointed me at the same time. I read the manga and pretty much expected the film to be similar to it but alas, it was rather different. -___- I thought Kirie was casted pretty well but Shuuichi just looked so feminine that I seriously questioned Kirie's sexuality. I mean, his eyebrows were lined with eyebrow liner, or whatever that's called and he probably wore more make-up than his girlfriend! And that AWFUL hair... slicked back? EWW. Anyway, there were some different things the movie did that I did like but mostly I didn't like. Especially the length. It WAS probably hard to fit 19 chapters into a single movie and maybe they did try but I didn't like it... many of the most entertaining chapters were condensed so short that they barely made sense. Well, it was all in all okay. If you hadn't read the manga, then I guess you would like it. ^^

And to top off my weekend, I saw Naruto ep. 101!!! XD YES, the one episode where Kakashi ALMOST reveals his no doubt beautiful face! It's quite different from the omake 'cause well, it's hard to make a three-page omake sufficient enough to fill one episode so they added a ton of spoofs. They are really comical and I did like it! XD

OH my gosh... I have such a crapload of homework tonight!!! IT SUCKS. I have to write an essay for Euro AP, do my Math Analysis homework, do Spanish homework, study for English, and EVEN finish my art project!!!! AAAAHHHH!!! I won't LIIIVEE!! T____T

But I just read BLEACH chap. 132 full of Gin and Hitsugaya (you know it, Unmei-chan! XD) goodness and of course, a typical dramatic plot twist. I CAN'T WAIT TO READ MOOORE!!!!

Well today in Orchestra, Mr. Clements was making jokes like usual and he said this one joke that was really REALLY funny!!! XD So Nicolette and I were laughing like CRAZY (well I think she laughed because I was laughing) and my stomach hurt and we couldn't even play our instrument when Mr. Clements started rehearsing again!! So we were just like laughing and trying to hide behind our cello so he wouldn't see, which was pretty funny anyway, and it was a while before we could play... XD But it was fun!! Oh and Nicolette's nickname is Nic-O! XD Las chicas mandan!

Oh and afterwards, kamu-chan and I were walking when we chanced to see the band taking a break or something and you know who's in the band!! XD I think you should know, Unmei-chan. Well, we went over to see that they were eating ICE CREAM, those lucky band-ers!! >< And we dared to get as close to him as possible and OMG he eats ice cream sooo cute!!! He was like licking the melted ice cream off his fingers... ^^= Waaa... And earlier, I saw him getting out his sax and putting on the sax strap thingy, which I admit, looks rather KINKY. XDDD I don't really like this guy. I just happen to have a fetish for good-looking guys. XD But don't we all?

And OMG... One Piece is going to air in the US!!! OMG!!!! THAT IS HORRIBLE!!! They are going to butcher Luffy's voice to no end. T___T And Zoro will never be the same...

OMG... I'm SO TIRED. Today I MUST get in bed before midnight... But first I must read history. *major headache* Ugh... when I was practicing piano today, I almost blacked out, it was so freaky. -___- One moment, I was drowsily practicing Stravinsky and the next, I had almost fallen off the chair.

And I don't understand why every night that I stay up late, there are bugs flying around like everywhere in the den, where the windows are closed and everything... o.o And this one stupid fly keeps crawling around my hand where there's no food at all.
